Sipping a creamy hot chocolate, looking over at the snow covered mountains cozily snugged under warm sheets, is the how my last snow holiday began. The setting was breathtakingly beautiful, with all the comforts I needed for a perfect holiday. Resort and Spa provided me with this much needed ideal break.



Conveniently located in the mountains close to Thredbo and Perisher sky fields and the beautiful Kosiuszko National Park, Novotel is an ideal holiday destination for families, couples and anyone that adores the outdoors.



My entire perception of a snow holiday with kids changed after experiencing Novotel. While the serious skiers went off on their ski adventure (A complimentary shuttle service is available for the guests to get to the ski tube to Perisher) I got the chance to relax by the lake absorbing the tranquil surroundings while the kids played on the freshly fallen white carpet of snow.



The hotel offers many complimentary fun activities for kids and adults alike from kayaking, horse riding to badminton, tennis and basketball. The 9 hole golf course undoubtedly is an ‘all year round’ attraction of the hotel. The indoor heated swimming pool proved to be total bliss after a tiring day on the snow.



The modern water front restaurant and bar, Cuisine on Lake Crackenback provides sumptuous regionally inspired meals thorough out the day so the guests opting to stay and relax do not need to go in search of food. Alpine Larder in another onsite more relaxed option for meals where county styles meals are offered at affordable prices.



The 4.5 star hotel boasts of 1,2 and 3 bed roomed contemporary apartment’s and Chalets which are strategically built over water. These open up to the spectacular views of the sprawling mountains and the surrounding lake. The accommodations are truly comfortable and include a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living areas with log fireplaces and private balconies.
